My own minimal OS for Java Mobile Phones

    Hi!

Can I develop, deploy and run my own OS or my own written OS for Java Mobile Phones? How?

I just want to run minimal OS for this purpose.

    Thank you.

In most cases, no. Device manufacturers (such as Nokia) do not generally allow user-installable operating systems to replace their own (the OS, or the firmware image files that contains the OS, usually needs to be digitally signed by the manufacturer, before the device allows it to boot up).
