    disable bluetooth send bloking

I made .sisx with uid from the test area.
If I try to send that via bluetooth it gives a error "cannot send secured object"

Can I somehow change this in the .sis or .sisx from carbide? This app should be able to distributed and copied freely.

    Re: disable bluetooth send bloking

If you mean sending from the device itself, it is a measure against "simple" hacking attempts: devices do not support sending files with .sis / .sisx extensions (probably it also applies to other installer-like files, .jar-s for example). However if you remove the extension, it should work - and the receiving device should be able to recognize that it is an installer, even without the file extension.

Sorry for replying an old thread but just wanted to say thank you. Renaming enables transfer. But atleast with xm5800 does not understand to install if .sis is not at the end.

you could also try out the OBEX example, it does nto restrict the sis file sendings.
