    Question pkg file created after make new Qt project???

    after creation of Qt project suppose named it textfinder then some files created like:
    textfinder.h
    textfinder.cpp
    main.cpp
    textfinder.ui
    textfinder.pro
    but in forum disscussion i saw that there also disscussion abt pkg file so where this file be created or need to create manually ???

    If you run qmake, your pkg file is created. Browse your project folder and you will find these files.(same folder where your pro file is)

    i m totally newbie to Qt.todays start to learn,so after using Qt creator i make simple app test and debug it without any change.i don't know how to run qmake.can u ellaborate more plz?and plz also describle which-which files created after make a project through all process???

    inside build there option Run qmake,i think may be u r saying abt thatone,am i right?

    Right click on your project in Qt creator, there you will find qmake. For detailed explaination you could check the help section in the creator, especially the getting started.

    thanx dear.also i want to know that how we know required capability in Qt???in same like in symbian that after debugging carbide shows that if we miss any capability in output window???
