Adding external jar file to the J2ME project

    Hi all,
I am using eclipse Galileo for j2me development. In one project, I am adding the external jar file to my project as follows :
Project Properties->Java Build Path->add external jar and browse the required jar file.
But when I run the application, it throws the runtime exception as 'java/lang/NoClassDefFoundError'. Can anybody please help me out? Where am I going wrong?

    Cheers,
    YoGi

    Hi YoGI,

    Welcome to Forum Nokia !!!

I think the jar is not included in your final jar file . If you want to cross veryfy you can extract the jar and see in the lib folder your jar file is present or not.

For adding the external jar file to your project refer this link http://eclipseme.org/docs/migration.html

Re: Adding external jar file to the J2ME project

I suggest to you , use netbeans if you use extra api jar. it combine your code and api jar perfectly. but, eclipse may always produce problems.
but, I like eclipse more. because it s easy and fast than netbeans.
