    N79 - Can't turn Landscape mode off

In my JAD and JAR, adding this attribute accomplishes nothing:

    Nokia-MIDlet-App-Orientation: portrait

And if I add either one or both of the following, it fails to install with the "Missing Compulsory Attributes" error

    MIDlet-Landscape-Support: FALSE
    MIDlet-Screen-Mode: Portrait

Any suggestion on why adding attributes means that an attribute is missing, or how I can disable Landscape support on this phone (Nokia N79)?

Re: N79 - Can't turn Landscape mode off

Nokia-MIDlet-App-Orientation is only supported starting from S60 5th Edition (and N79 is an older version)

The error message from the non-standard attributes starting with MIDlet- is really a little confusing, but those attributes are not supported either.

Unfortunately I do not think that you can limit the app to portrait-only on this device.
