    Nokia 22 OK Tone

I have a problem with what sounds like the "OK tone" being sent just before the call connect, this is only happens on some of my units, I have used the configarator to copy the config from a unit which does not send the tone but this does not work. My users are not used to the tone and hang up.

Is there a way to turn this tone off?

Check if there is a call diversion activated in those SIM cards: Nokia 22 will indicate with a single beep if there is an active call diversion.
To check it, use Configurator software or remove the SIM card and insert it to the ordinary gsm phone. Select then the "Call diversion" menu to query the state of the diversions.

If there are no active diversions, check the terminal SW version e.g. with AT command AT+GMR. The terminals that gives a beep might have older SW.
