    Component delegate in a Repeater

    Hi,
    I have a repeater i use to print items on a Map with a delegate.
    The problem I have is that the delegate must be a Component (else I have this error : Unable to assign QObject* to QDeclarativeComponent* ) and that I would like to add a signal to this delegate (to receive an event on click), which I can't, since it's a Component (error is "Component objects cannot declare new signals.")
    the repeater is like :
    Code:
    Item {
            id: pinpointViewContainer
            Repeater {
                id: pinpointView
                model: itemsModel
                delegate: itemMapDelegate
            }
        }
    with itemMapDelegate declared earlier as a variant :
    property variant itemMapDelegate
    (and set during instanciation to a Component)

    Re: Component delegate in a Repeater

    found something.
    if i set the property type to Component (that's legal?) i can have a delegate that is an Item without error. weird.
