    Thumbs up How to use a Midlet as a service

    How to use a Midlet as a service....I want to run my Application always in my mobile without UI. If i Switch off and again Switch on My mobille, my Application(Midlet) should start automatically and run in background always.........How to do this.....Plz provide any links or Samples...

    For use of Midlet as a service refer this link that may be helpful to you.

    Make sure to visit NFC Wiki, Nokia 6131 NFC - FAQs Wiki, and the Discussion Boards for latest updates on Midlet availability and instructions on where to download Midlet.

    nayan, i guess you did not really want to answer to this thread.

    ramtrp, what you are looking for is mostly impossible. only a native application can be started on boot.
    also, what is your target ?

    Simply say, My application run in backgorund always for some other process....whenever i switch off my mobile, then only that application will stop.

    Search the forums, wiki and the library for "autostart" and "push registry", and you will find what's possible, and what's not possible regarding MIDlets.

    I have search about that....all are said....make

    Is it run in background always....if i switch on my mobile the Application also will start...is it possible in Java ME???....
