[moved] Certified Signed submission of Qt Application

    Hi,

We are going to submit our Qt Application for certificate signing because we need Multimedia DD capability.

My question here is that do we have to submit the Qt application alone to the test house or submit the smart installer one?

That would be Certified Signed signed and yes, you have to submit each file for signing, one by one. Once your application's sis is signed, wrap it up with the Smart Installer and then submit the new SIS file to Symbian Signed.

You should always try to help yourself first, by posting the questions in the relevant forums. Question moved to Symbian Signed support forum.

    Thank ltomuta.

Each file for signing means do I have to pay them twice for testing.

Since our target is more for the contest (2011 Calling Innovators)

Lets say that I get my app is Certificate signing. I bundle this with smart installer and then submit to ovi store for express signing .

    Is this possible ?

I assume that the wrapping installer does not all the capabilities the embedded one has. Right

Yes, you have to pay twice and yes, the Smart Installer wrapper can be Express Signed
