    [N8] JavaScript ontouch events

    Hello.
    Is it possible to implement in Nokia N8 default internet browser JavaScript events dedicated to touch screens like onorientationchange, ontouchstart, ontouchmove, ontouchend, ontouchcancel ?

    This feature will allow N8 to use pages that use on-screen gestures.
    Best Regards

    Hi kubofonista,

    Those events are not supported by default. You could emulate some, like onorientationchange

    Code:
    window.onresize = function(){
    	if(window.innerHeight > window.innerWidth){
    	   //portrait
    	}else{
    	   //landscape
    	}
    }
    Touch events are more tricky. You could try to emulate those by getting mouse move events, but it would be more like a hack.

    Yep, but what about onmouse? Why onmousedown = onmouseup ? This is bug thats prevent the interception of moving a finger across the screen event
