Symbina :: File access outside the Yucca Browser application

    Hello friends,

I have written a log file using RFile and RFs. I am writing the application flow related messages into this log file (C:\\LogFile.txt/) succesfully e.g connecting to server, connection to server failed etc.

To view this file contents i need an extra Yucca browser application. So, how can i view the contents of a file outside the Yucaa browser "C:", something like File manager present in any mobile device.

    Help and suggestions plz.

    Thanks,
    Datta P.

Phone memory root (in the built-in File Manager) is c:\Data (you can also try it in the emulator; put something into epoc32\winscw\c\data, and you will see it from the File Manager). Or you can also use the memory card, e:\.

In emulator build it's fine...i want to view the files from device file manager....rather i cant see the c:\Data inside file manager...i kep my log files in c:\ itself..so ideally it shoud be available in c:\ path...but no file i can see in this path.

    Let us try again.
The built-in File Manager application shows:
    - c:\Data as "Phone memory" (the left tab)
    - e:\ as "Memory card" (the right tab).
It does not show content from c:\, and it can not be changed. If you want to see your file, it should become c:\Data\LogFile.txt or e:\LogFile.txt as minimum.
