loosing all alarm settings on alarm during poweroff

It seems on Nokia E71, the alarm settings are lost when an alarm is activated while the mobile is turned off.

The sequence which i followed was.
    # set an alarm with time = current time + 5 mins
    # switched off the mobile
    # When the alarm time reaches the alarm goes on and asks "if we want to turn on the phone"; select 'no'.
[My opinion is that at this stage it should just inform the user that the phone is switched off, rather than giving an option to turn on the phone.]
    # turn on the phone and go to Menu_office_clock and check the previous alarm settings. All of them would be deleted. I saw the same error in E72 and E63.

Re: loosing all alarm settings on alarm during poweroff

Welcome to the Forum Nokia Developer discussion board, as this DiBo concentrates on development related issues, you might find more end-user problems related Dibo better suited for your query. Here's link for one: http://discussions.europe.nokia.com/

Anyway, non-repeating alarms will of course be deleted after showing them, as well as the dialog that would just say that the mobile is off would not really serve any purpose in my point of view, and the asking for user whether teh device would be set on is rather logical.

Thanks, I will check it in discussions.forum.
All the alarms (all repeating and non-repeating) are deleted in this case.
