    CSenElement and utf8

    Hello, I would like to generate XML file in unicode/UTF8 format - can you help me out?

    1. I need a function similar to CSenElement::SetContenL, that will accept Unicode character, not TDes8.
    Then I guess CSenElement::AsXmlUnicodeL.
    2. I will also need to set attribute to the document that it is in Unicode format, something like: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-16"?>

    did you check this http://symbian.newlc.com/article.php3?id_article=598
    also you can try to make your own xml, take the tags in buffer and add the value and text and then close the tag, finally write it to a file
    Are you using SenXml.lib

    Thank you!
    Yes I am using SenXml.lib and I am very comfortable with it - I just found out that I need to use unicode characters.
    I read the article, looks promising - if there is no easy solution with SenXml.lib I will try it out. Thanks!
