    how to create app for touch and non touch events?

    Hi,
    I am new for J2me. I would like to create app for touch and non touch screen. In case of touch screen, the app should work for touch and when the keypressed(I have components and i need to swap my control from one component to another component). How can i acheieve this?I am using Low level API.I want to swap controls of my components for non touch screen also.How can i achieve this?

    Canvas has a method hasPointerEvents(), which returns true on touch screen devices, false on non-touch devices. You can use this to determine the type of device you are running one.

    Use the method call which is suggested by Graham, and then according to the values returned by this method call, you can move ahead in terms of rendering of the components and events handling.
