Question Problem Compiling with remote compiler

I am using Qt SDK 1.1 RC on Kubuntu 10.04. While trying to compile on remote compiler for symbian target, the following error results:

    Code:
Running build steps for project SimpleCalc...
Building for Nokia Symbian^3 v0.9 using Qt 4.6.3 with Mobility 1.0.2
Uploading 5 files to Remote Compiler
Uploaded 3 kB, waiting for build

    sbs : warnings: 0
    sbs : errors: 2

    built 'armv5_urel_gcce4_4_1'

    Run time 5 seconds

    sbs: build log in C:/Nokia/devices/Nokia_Symbian3_SDK_v0.9/epoc32/build/Makefile.2011-04-29-04-13-49.log
sbs: error: C:/Apps/Raptor/win32/mingw/bin/cpp.exe: cpp.exe: too many input files
    sbs: error: Preprocessor exception: ''Errors in /home/tyf/development/qt projects/SimpleCalc/bld.inf'' : in command : 'C:/Apps/Raptor/win32/mingw/bin/cpp.exe -undef -nostdinc -MD -MFC:/Nokia/devices/Nokia_Symbian3_SDK_v0.9/epoc32/build/simplecalc/c_cd4dd76785c5a954/bldinf.p_eae79de8bf86169f1823a207dbdd4b21.d -MT$(PARSETARGET) -include C:/Nokia/devices/Nokia_Symbian3_SDK_v0.9/epoc32/include/variant/Symbian_OS.hrh -DSBSV2=_____SBSV2 -DGCCE=_____GCCE -DEPOC32=_____EPOC32 -DMARM=_____MARM -DEABI=_____EABI -DGENERIC_MARM=_____GENERIC_MARM -DMARM_ARMV5=_____MARM_ARMV5 -DGCCE_4=_____GCCE_4 -DGCCE_4_4=_____GCCE_4_4 -D__GNUC__=3 -I . -I C:/Nokia/devices/Nokia_Symbian3_SDK_v0.9/epoc32/include/variant -I C:/Nokia/devices/Nokia_Symbian3_SDK_v0.9/epoc32/include -I /home/tyf/development/qt projects/SimpleCalc /home/tyf/development/qt projects/SimpleCalc/bld.inf'
    Build Failed: Errors in build
Error while building project SimpleCalc (target: Remote Compiler)
    When executing build step ''
What does the "too many input files" mean? Does it mean I am missing certain files? Below is my .pro file:
    Code:
    #-------------------------------------------------
    #
    # Project created by QtCreator 2011-02-26T16:08:24
    #
    #-------------------------------------------------

    QT += core gui

    TARGET = SimpleCalc
    TEMPLATE = app

    SOURCES += main.cpp\
            mainwindow.cpp

    HEADERS += mainwindow.h

    FORMS += mainwindow.ui
The pro file has listed all the files I use in the project. As you can see, it is a simple project that also serves as my "hello world" program in Qt.
This project compiles without problem when targeting desktop, both in Windows and Linux, but build errors pop up only when compiling in remote compiler. As a beginner in Qt software development, I am not sure whether it is my fault or not.
Can someone point out the problem?

Weird, I can't find the file in the SimpleCalc folder, only the .cpp , .h , .pro ,.ui and other files, but not bld.inf

I really can't find the bld.inf file, either before, during and after the building process!

Re: Problem Compiling with remote compiler

Pardon me, I forgot to mention that I am using project file that is created previously using Qt SDK 1.0, and I thought direct upgrade of the Qt SDK will not affect the project files.
Now I have created a new project from within the Qt SDK 1.1, and it works without problem. Thanks for your attention.

oh no.....it builds without error when using the Qt simulator configuration. When I switch to Remote compiler, it shows the error below when building:

It seems like there is a bug in the directory handling. my folder name has a space, "qt projects" which confuse the compiler... should this be filed as a bug?

Well, I am very sure that the compiler has problem in directory handling. After renaming the folder into "qt_projects" the remote compiler builds successfully.

Re: Problem Compiling with remote compiler

I have same problems - i can build only one example (BatteryIndicatorTutorial). My Remote Compiler on Linux box yells with errors ... but when I build and run for simulator everything works like a charm. What is wrong ??

    Screenshot with errors

    Project
http://chomikuj.pl/sebekk23/QtCreato...r,955670310.gz - click on "Pobierz plik" to download

    Some info:
    OS - ArchLinux x64
    QtSDK 1.1.2
