    Is it possible to do screenshot widget in QML

    Is it possible to do "screenshot" function in QML for mobile application?
    As far as I know, it can be done in QPixmap but it seems complicated for me

    No it's not possible to take screenshots with QML. You have to bind QML to a C++ method/function.
    You can use QPixmap::grab(QDeclarativeView *your_view) or you can use
    QPixmap screenshot;
    QPainter p(&screenshot);
    yourQMLView->render(&p);

    Re: Is it possible to do screenshot widget in QML

    I am sorry, I am not a programmer, but I am interested to try out QT.

    How can I bind QML to a C++ method?

    How do I know which object refer to yourQMLView?

    How to I save the screenshot to a file?
