    Cool I have worked on symbian c++, but very new to QT. I want to bulid Live TV on mobile

    I have worked on symbian c++, but very new to QT. I want to bulid Live TV on mobile . When I run a application call BT Live. The follwowing are the errors displayed


    Running build steps for project BTLIVE...

    Starting: "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Symbian\tools\make.exe" all

    Can't open perl script "C:\Program": No such file or directory

    The process "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Symbian\tools\make.exe" exited with code 2.

    Error while building project BTLIVE (target: Desktop)

    When executing build step 'Make'.

    My target is to put rtsp live streaming links into the application and make my own app. Please help me.

    you can not have spaces on any paths, thus make sure your tools & project files are under folders that are not containing any spaces on them.

    There is a space, right in between "Program" and "Files" and that is what the error message is telling you. "Can't open perl script "C:\Program": No such file or directory" as you can see the parsing stopped at the space.
    Show the entire build output so that we know what you are doing.

    Ok I will be more brief in the next post > Actually I downloaded the code and SDK . Iam compiling in order to keep my own streams in it.

    Can u tell me which SDK to download? How to begin generate the installation file after modifying?

    just get the Qt SDK 1.1, install it to the default location, and then make sure that your workspace and other files are also under paths that are not containing any spaces

    If you are new to Qt make sure that you are able to create New Project. Also make sure on the space as everyone said before.
    Open the .PRO file , click on Project icon and make sure it have been selected for Symbian device or destop

    ok I have imported the project from C drive as said.I clcke on the hammer symbol It says when i see the compile output

    Could not start process "mingw32-make.exe" all
    Error while building project BTLive (target: Desktop)
    When executing build step 'Make'

    any prob with the compiler?

    I imported my project BTLive from C drive . I clicked on Hammer symbol it is saying :

    I installed QT SDK in E drive so I copied the project in E drive and imported.

    Its trying to find the path in C:\ drive and the Qt SDk is installed E:\ drive.
    Do you have make.exe in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Symbian\tools\
