    Cannot Verify Account

It doesn't matter what file I try to upload - a previously express signed app, a certified sign app or even an app I sign using our dev cert using the file provided, I keep getting this error when attempting to verify our account:

Failed to verify Publisher ID due to certificate validation error

What am I doing wrong here?

    Thanks

    Josh

You should upload a sis that is signed with your Publisher ID, not the dev signed/express signed or cert signed.

    Re: Cannot Verify Account

I have various sis files which I have signed using my developer certificate, and express signed , I do have a publisher ID , can anyone please tell me how do I sign a sis with my publisher ID , what is the step by step process for that, so that I can also verify my account.

    signsis some.sis some_tc.sis tc.cer tc.key password
In fact this is the same thing what you would do prior to sending the application for Express/Certified signing...

You have two signatures in the sis-file, when you should only have one. Check out the instructions for account verification at http://www.developer.nokia.com/Commu...e-Known-Issues.

    Re: Cannot Verify Account

    Human error?
Try removing the signatures (signsis -u ...) or take the clean SIS provided by Symbian Signed and sign it carefully only once, then check the signature (by calling: signsis -o ...) and if all OK submit it to the site for verification.

    Re: Cannot Verify Account

    i signed the clean sis
when i looked by signsis -o
i still see 2 certificate and i think the reason for that is
we bought our publisher id 2 years ago when it is ended we bought new one and some how signsis inclueds both certificates
    what should i do ?

    Use signsis -u yoursis.sis
It'll remove the latest added certificate from the sis file. Make sure (with signsis -o) that the time valid certificate is still there.

It might be the case that your .cer file contains both certificates. If they are in the text format you can try opening the file in text editor and cut n' paste them in separate files.

    Certificate file should look like
    -----BEGIN CERTIFICATE-----
    NDOIFoWCDBIigAwIFKgIPANAUAAEAAr//Mpsts87GMA0GCSqGSIb3DQEBBQUAMH0x
    ...
    DdfjqwdQWDdw==
    -----END CERTIFICATE-----

If you have two "BEGIN CERTIFICATE" texts in your file then you have two certificates and signsis will most probably write both to your sis file.
