    Question Volume up/down in QML

    Hello,
I have been wondering if it's possible to get the signals of the volume up/down keys pressed in a QML element. I have checked this tutorial: http://developer.qt.nokia.com/wiki/A...ent_On_Symbian
But I did not know where where can I put that line of code?

    Thank you very much,
    Bálint

    Re: Volume up/down in QML

    Hi,

Yes you can do this. they are creating a qml component using qt+symbian, you can also do the same. Try to find "Custom QML Component" on wiki. you will find lots of help.
Use [URL="http://qt.nokia.com/products/qt-quick/"]Qt-Quick[/URL] to make your application UI more attractive.

    Re: Volume up/down in QML

    Thanks for the quick reply,
following the tutorial I linked in the first post, and many others I found in the Wiki, I could do every steps, but this:
In the C++ code, register it into the declarative engine.
    Code:
    qmlRegisterType<MediakeyCaptureItem>("Mediakey", 1, 0, "MediakeyCapture");
    Here I link my main.cpp
    http://pastebin.com/7USz69Qm
    and qmlapplicationviewer.cpp
    http://pastebin.com/QBseBinn

Could you please offer more help exactly where should I register the item?

    Thank you really musch
