    which SDK?

I want to develop from a Meego desktop workstation (x64). But I want to export to ARM devices like the N9/50. Should I install the Qt SDK and install the Harmattan bits with the Qt SDK maintenance tool or should I follow the steps to get started with MeeGo SDK for Linux? If I want the Qt SDK instead, should I get it from qt.nokia.com or from the Nokia Developer sites? It seems like this would be a FAQ by now but perhaps I've missed it in all the pages I've been reading this evening.

    kind regards,

    Re: which SDK?

Link to wiki.meego.org explains installation of rpm-based MeeGo SDK, which is not what you want.
Qt SDK 1.1.2 you get from here http://qt.nokia.com/downloads/
And Platform SDK you get from here http://www.developer.nokia.com/Commu...n_Platform_SDK
You should use the one you are the most comfortable with or even both at the same time.

    Re: which SDK?

if you want to target to harmattan use linux sdk or qt sdk 1.1.2.
if you want to target meego desktop or tablet or n900ce use obs or maybe meego sdk

    Re: which SDK?

    added to the other post,
N9 needs a deb file be installed on the device where as meego tablet/netbook needs rpm file to be installed, so for both of these we need to have different SDK.
Nokia Qt SDK 1.1.2 has the components for N9/50 development. and if you want to develop for MeeGo Tablet then go for MeeGo SDK 1.2 from meego website. But after you install both the SDK will contain Qt creator and even you will find the option to build for MeeGo/Harmattan/symbian device/desktop in Nokia Qt Creator (Qt SDK 1.1.2)
