    Re: HTTPS connection issue

    On which device?
    Does the http://address work?
Can you MIDlet access the newtrok at all?
Are you using SocketConnection or HTTPConnection in your MIDlet?

    Re: HTTPS connection issue

java.io.IOException means your device is not able to open the https connection with your server - try it on the emulator and check, does it work ?
    thanks,

    Re: HTTPS connection issue

go with http in-place of https and go for encryption and decryption of all the data that is transfered over http from mobile client to server and server to device.
You cannot use HTTPS without signing the app.
    thanks,

Varun, make sure your server uses a certificate from a authority known to your device: Does this help?
