    [moved] Device Discovery Load Errors

    I have installed Nokia_Symbian3_SDK_v1.0 & Carbide.c++ v 3.2.0 .
    then run carbide & the following message appears.................

    Carbide couldn't find a PC Suite installation.

    ignoring the message, i tried to testify the IDE & opened the helloworldbasic example.
    But can't compile or run it.

    According to the installation guide, on the first opening of Carbide.c++ there should appear a message for plugins,
    but the message was not appeared.

    Re: Device Discovery Load Errors

    PC/Ovi Suite is not used for building the project.
    Have you installed ActivePerl too? Symbian SDK-s use Perl 5.6.1, and this particular SDK actually contains the installer in epoc32\tools\distrib (assuming default location: C:\Nokia\devices\Nokia_Symbian3_SDK_v1.0\epoc32\tools\distrib\ActivePerl-5.6.1.635-MSWin32-x86.msi)
