    Qt Quick 1.2 and com.meego 1.0 for desktop builds

    Development of Harmattan apps requires a device at the moment, largely because the simulator for Harmattan builds is so damn slow.

    What I'd like to try is building my harmattan apps for the desktop (windows or linux) instead. I know that this will mean a lot of things probably won't work properly, but it would certainly allow me to get a feel for the app framework.

    Can anyone provide any guidance on how to enable this for my desktop builds against the latest SDK (ideally on windows)
    import QtQuick 1.1
    import com.meego 1.0

    I feel your pain, I have the same problem. The QML team should clear this up immediately before people start coding their own UI libraries!

    Anyway, a beta version com.meego is available for debian:

    Thanks. That's a very useful link, which I had only scanned previously.
