    Debugging problem in symbian device

    Hi

    I get message:

Could not load shared library symbols for 26 libraries, e.g. C:\sys\bin\QtCore.dll.
Use the "info sharedlibrary" command to see the complete listing.
Do you need "set solib-search-path" or "set sysroot"?

when I start Debugging in symbian device. In simulator I do not get same message. Also program behaves different in symbian device and simulator.

Any idea where to start digging?

I use Win 7 and QT Creator 2.2.1. I have QT SDK 1.1.2.

Re: Debugging problem in symbian device

    Hi,

I am encountering GDB Crash during debugging on Qt Creator with Nokia C5-03.

    Dev environment:
    windows-xp sp3
    QtCreator-2.2.1
    Qt-4.7.3
    TRK
    gdb -version: 6.8

A pop-up window coming with message "gdb-arm-none-symbianelf.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close."

And following are the output on terminal.

    Launching debugger...

    Debugging starts

limiting remote suggested packet size (131072 bytes) to 16384

TRK LOG: [Qt Message] set the notification ()

TRK LOG: [Qt Message] C'tor iOldDir Size: 0

[Qt Message] set the notification ()

[Qt Message] C'tor iOldDir Size: 0

Could not load shared library symbols for 12 libraries, e.g. C:\sys\bin\QtCore.dll.

Use the "info sharedlibrary" command to see the complete listing.

Do you need "set solib-search-path" or "set sysroot"?

    Debugging has finished

    Any help appreciated.

Re: Debugging problem in symbian device

Looks like device Qt is wrong .. try formatting and installing correct[latest] version of Qt for your device.
