Some system commands are not permitted on N950 with "devel-su"

For gain root the "devel-su" is used, but some commands are still not permitted ("chroot" for example).
To solve this problem we tried to disable aegis by execution of the following command:
    /usr/sbin/aegis-developer-mode --relaxed-exec

But the result was the same : Error: Permission denied.

root is no different from all other accounts, it is stripped off all its powers. You need to get back some of them in form of POSIX capabilities, like CAP_SYS_CHROOT but once you have obtained it through the Aegis manifest (if your origin is permitted to obtain it), you don't need to be root specifically.

How do you get these capabilities within a terminal or ssh session? I have seen some guides on giving applications different capabilities, but would love to know how I could gain this in a terminal or ssh session. I've also skimmed through this documentation, but might have overlooked something. Any advice on this would be appreciated

I'm purely theorising here -- you may get more privileges "for free" from applauncherd. Check accli -I -p `pidof applauncherd.bin`. Using invoker you can get many privileges but you would need to compile your application to comply with invoker's requirements (-fPIC, etc): http://meego.gitorious.org/meegotouc...ARATIVEBOOSTER
