    Qt application packaging failed!

    Hi,

I am trying to create my first Qt app for Maemo - N900. All I did is to download and install NokiaQtSDK on my windows XP machine, Create a new project targeting Fremantle PR1.2. And build it. I am getting following error..

    Creating package file ...
    Package Creation: Running command 'dh_installdirs'.
    dh_installdirs: dpkg-architecture failed
    Packaging Error: Command 'dh_installdirs' failed.Exit code: 1
Error while building project Maemo (target: Maemo)

The generated control and rule files look fine to me!!!
Any idea what could be wrong? I am in a hurry, Any help will be really appreciable.
    Thanks,

    DJ

    Re: Qt application packaging failed!

    Hi,
I think it's safe to remove dh_installdirs from your rules file if it doesn't work for some reason.
Unfortunately the error messages doesn't really explain what's the problem.

Is the project and the Qt SDK installation on the same drive?
