    No Class Def Found Error

    Hi All,

I am using javax.microedition.global.StringComparator class which belongs to JSR-238 to compare two string based on the locals.
In emulator it is working fine.
But when I am running the application on the device it is giving

No Class Def Found Error javax/lang/NoClassDefFoundError
    javax/microedition/global/StringComparator.

Do I need to set something else in the device?
I am surprised that in the emulator it is working fine but in the device it is giving the exception.

    Please help me....

    Thanks & Regards,
    Ajit

Re: No Class Def Found Error

    Thanks Amit,

I am using Nokia 3110c and Nokia 2700c for testing.
I checked and got that both devices does not support JSR-238.
Is there any way to include jsr238 in the application so that it will work on the above mentioned two devices?

    Please help...

    Thanks & Regards,
    Ajit

You can't play with the JSR, if the same is not supported by the device's platforms .. You have bed luck.
    Thanks with Regards,
