    How to use embedded camera application from my application?

    Hi I want to ask how to use embedded camera application from my application?
    Is that posible to do that?

    In my application has menu to take photo and video, so I want to use the embedded camera application.

    I already try this code, but I have an error
    http://www.developer.nokia.com/Commu...an_application

    TApaDocCleanupItem not recognize

    Any suggestion to do that (or other way to do that)

    Thanks

    You could try : http://www.developer.nokia.com/Commu...ice_Client_API or simply use the Camera API to include camera functionality in your application.

    Thank Yucca for the info, this is what I'am looking for

    I try your suggestion link, but when after capture a photo, I press select CBA from the camera app, it cannot back to my App (if I press back CBA it can back to my App)
    Is that I must bring my App foreground manually or something I must close manually?

    Or maybe something must be set in parameter?
    Code:
    TBool result = fileClient->NewFileL(KUidCamera, *selectedFiles, paramList, ENewFileServiceVideo,EFalse );
    Thanks

    Re: How to use embedded camera application from my application?

    Ah got the solution, it is must PopAndDestroy first before checking

    before
    Code:
    TBool result = fileClient->NewFileL(KUidCamera,*selectedFiles,paramList,
    ENewFileServiceImage,EFalse );//KUidCamera refers to Camera Uid
    if(result)
      {
      CEikonEnv::InfoWinL(_L("Success"),_L(""));
      }
    else
      {
      CEikonEnv::InfoWinL(_L("Failed"),_L(""));
      }
    CleanupStack::PopAndDestroy( 3 ); // selectedFiles, paramList fileClient --> change this before if(result)
    change code :
    Code:
    TBool result = fileClient->NewFileL(KUidCamera,*selectedFiles,paramList,
    	ENewFileServiceImage,EFalse );//KUidCamera refers to Camera Uid

    	CleanupStack::PopAndDestroy( 2 ); //paramList fileClient

    	if(result)
    	  {
    	  CEikonEnv::InfoWinL(_L("Success"),selectedFiles->MdcaPoint(0));
    	  }
    	else
    	  {
    	  CEikonEnv::InfoWinL(_L("Failed"),_L(""));
    	  }
    	CleanupStack::PopAndDestroy(  ); // selectedFiles

    Thanks again Yucca
