Symbian Library building with an assembler file

When trying to link a library with few cpp files and one .S file the asmcompile software outputs the following error:
    unrecognized command line option "-fdepend_format=unix"

Pretty explicit error, but I don't know how to edit the toolchain and possibly do something about this. I have no clue which part of the process gives that option to the asm compiler.

So my question is simple, how do I add a asm file to a qt project so it build's correctly and if that is not possible, how do I build it separately and link it?

    thanks!

Is the topic still open? If so please let us know more info, f.ex what SDK you're using.

    thanks,

Re: Symbian Library building with an assembler file

The mentioned problem occurs at least with Nokia Qt SDK 1.1.3 (Qt Creator 2.3.0, Qt 4.7.4) using the Symbian^3 GCCE toolchain.
