    how to create a Transparent Window

    when watching video, I want to show something on a transparent window. I find that, http://www.developer.nokia.com/Commu...AA%97%E5%8F%A3, and on symbian^3, it works ok, but on s60v5, it show a black or white screen, who could tell me what should I do? thanks!

    Have you checked that the phone actually support EColor16MA display mode? In the wiki article it is stated clearly the prerequisite.

    it supports EColor16MA, I have checked. And if not in player, it works ok

    Symbian^3 has the Screenplay in it, thus all stuff is handled very differently. Anyway, pre-S^3 the video is basically drawing directly to the screen, and there are really no nice ways on drawing on top of it.
