    Capabilities problem with Qt which doesn't exist with QML

    Hi,
    I have a strange problem with capabilities , when i used "ReadDeviceData and WriteDeviceData"
    for my contacts app in Qt quick application i could deploy it on the devices with self signing, but with qt applications i cant use these capabilities with self signing why???!!!

    U can not sign every application using Self-Signed certificate, U have to get Symbian Signed.

    Careful there, what you need is a developer certificate, which can be obtained from Symbian Signed or from Ovi Publish.
    As for capabilities, they are applied to your application's process[es] and it matters not if you use QML or C++, they are always needed in order to perform a certain operation or to access a certain feature.

    and AFAIK "ReadDeviceData and WriteDeviceData" capability does not come with selfsign certificate, you must need developer certificate.
