    Hide instead of Quit

    Hi everyone,

I'm developing an application in Qt with C++ and QML, and I'm testing with a Nokia 5800.

I want to hide the app instead of quit it when you click a button. I mean, I want to let it still be loaded while you are again in the menu screen of the phone. I saw this in the Contacts OVI app and in Whatsapp but I couldn't make it.

Any idea? I tried with QmlApplicationViewer::hide but then I can not open it again.

    Thanks in advance.

I would try http://doc.qt.nokia.com/latest/qwidg...setWindowState on the qmlviewer class, that sounds like something that would do the trick.

If by 'hide' you mean leave it running in the background and have it visible in the task switcher, see this thread.
