    QML over C++

    Hi

    I want to create an QML-based setup page which will be called over qgraphicsscene
    what is the best approach to do this taking in account i'll have to support both symbian and harmattan to (i.e. different resolutions) and I have to make it translateble
    m.b some links ready examples or so

    Hi,
    What do you mean with "OVER" the graphics scene? Do you want to create a sort of Dialog inside the Graphics View or what?

    Examples? Instead of using a Dialog, what about using flipable element[1]? does it sound good for you?
    The parent root object is usually stretched to occupy the entire area available, and you can use anchors.fillarent
    or other simple tricks to make your app look great with different resolutions.

    In case you want to use a dialog QML window, then you could create one by yourself simply setting the z property of the element to keep it over others.
    Example of dialogs can be found in the Colibri components or Symbian/Harmattan components.
