    Qt Quick components 1.0

    Hi,
    I have a 2 questions regarding Quick components 1.0 and i hope you can help
    I know that it is available for Symbian & meego
    We import Quick components 1.0 like this

    import com.nokia.meego 1.0

    import com.nokia.symbian 1.0

    My questions is
    1. For Symbian as i understand it targets Symbian^3 does it support symbian^1 and does it support maemo ?
    2. For OVI store will it work and compatible with smart installer?
    for meego i assume it is working by default and no problem on OVI store? please correct me if i am wrong

    Thanks
    Wael

    There are no components for Symbian 1 and Maemo.
    Components available on Maemo are the MeeGo ones ported by the community.

    I'm not a symbian expert, but I think smart installer will support any Nokia official component.

    IIRC the Maemo version was in Extras-Devel. But no idea if it has been recently updated.

    I think the biggest problem is that Components require Qt 4.7 and Qt SDK for Maemo supports Qt 4.6.2.
    So you need to update those libs to 4.7 in order to compile your harmattan app with Qt SDK.
