Problem with installing Nokia 3510i MIDP SDK

I tried installing the Nokia 3510i MIDP SDK on my pc at home (WinXP), but it gives an error like 'install not possible in this mode'.
I looked at the install manual, which recommends lowering or turning of any acceleration by going to properties of your screen and then to advanced settings.
I tried this, but the same error keeps coming up.
Does anyone have any idea how to take care of this?

    Kind regards,

    Ronald Cornelissen.

For me, the solution to this problem was to install the JRE v1.4. I was trying to install the Nokia MM Converter when I got a similar error message to the one you received. I noticed in the install doc that one software requirement was the JRE v1.4-1. Check the related install document for your SDK to see if you're missing any prerequisite software.
