How to create GUI for terminal commands?

    Hi guys (and girls)

I'm new at MeeGo and am wanting to know if there is a way that I can run a terminal command straight from a GUI.

Eg. When button A gets pressed, command A is entered into terminal.

    Thanks for any help,
    Michael

Hmmm... one quick and dirty hack could be to build your own VKB layout with MesInput and use that with Terminal program itself

Or are you looking for a different solution?

Looking for a different solution, but thanks for the suggestion.

I have a few apps, but they can only be run from the console. I was hoping to make a GUI that would make it easy for other users, and myself, instead of having to constantly re enter the same command, each time you want to run the app.
