Nokia Series S40 SDK 1.0 - Records stores - Difference between emulator and device

    Hi,

I am having a problem with Record stores in my application.

I am working with Nokia SDK 1.0 Series S40 and use Java.

On the emulator data are saved in the record stores.

When I deploy on a phone they are NOT saved. Here X3-02.

It is not the first time I am working with RMS but first time similar thing happen.

Any idea on how this can happen?

    Another question:
Where are the record stores located in the file system to delete them?

    Chris

Re: Nokia Series S40 SDK 1.0 - Records stores - Difference between emulator and devic

    Ok. We found why.

When testing on the emulator we were entering every fields in our form but not on the emulator. So if a value was let empty in the form, this causes problem if it is saved in and then loaded from the records stores...

I forget about this and did it in the past!

Conclusion: Test on emulators and do lots of data check.

    Chris
