    Killing Apps

When I close an app by swiping top-down across the screen I am taken to the apps overview screen, then the app which I just closed appears for a second and then disappears finally. Why is that? Shouldn't it go away right when I top-down swipe it?

You might want to identify the technology used for the application, as well as the target devices where you experience this kind of behaviour. At least the whole idea sounds something that is not native at least for Symbian..

Ups, sorry - I thought this was a N9 Harmattan forum. Where can I turn to if I want to contribute to improving the N9 User Experience?
    Thanx

I think this forum part is general, thus if you have some specific device/platform in your mind, then you might want to identify it.

    So again ...

When I close an app on my N9 (PR1.1) by swiping top-down across the screen I am taken to the apps overview screen, then the app which I just closed appears for a second and then disappears finally. Why is that? Shouldn't it go away right when I top-down swipe it? - and the user should be taken to the start screen.

    Here's a quote:
"PR1.2 changes the swipe down to function as direct close without going to recents/multi-tasking view."
