Cool The application doesn't use the display area to its full extent.

QA report for my content submitted is as follows:

The application's icon is not displayed correctly in the device
    menu.

The application doesn't use the display area to its full extent.

The application doesn't use the display area to its full extent.
EXPECTED RESULT: The application uses the display area to its full extent. For
secondary orientations, it is acceptable if the content file uses at least 80%
of the screen as long as all text, options and features are accessible.
    AFFECTED DEVICES: All 240x320 devices.
    FREQUENCY REPRODUCED: 100%.

just deal the issues one by one, and see what happens in real devices. I.e. have a device like N95, launch the application on it, and then change the layout on run time and see what happens to the screen.

The screen or the layout not changes acoordingly which should happen actually. i.e Portrait mode shiftwing the layout accordingly with the screen of the mobile.

    Vertical postion vertical layout

    Horizontal position horizontal layout

then if you have really used a device that has the resolution specified, then ask which firmware & device is giving this error, and try again. And if you can not really repeat the problem, then ask for clarification from the QA on how you can reproduce the error.

Also do make sure that you are using same sis files. I do know that you have 3 different ones, so there are high chance that you are mixing them, thus do re-check and make sure QA is using exactly the same sis as you are in your tests.

Re: The application doesn't use the display area to its full extent.

I wanted to tell you that for s60 3rd edition content application I have tested on Nokia E71

for symbian 3and anna content application I have tested on Nokia E7 and C7 .

Note: The application switches its layout according to position of the mobile in E7, but as far as video is concerned it plays only in fixed layout i.e horizonal or landscape I think.

The application does not switches or changes its layout accordingly in s60 3rd device i.e nokia E71 .

Note that you do have 3 separate sis files, thus do check the 3rd edition one with a device like N95 that can switch between 240x320 and 320x240. Could be that your layout changing stuff is messing the drawing areas.
