How to send "space" key event to virtual keyboard?

    Hello,

we have some challenges in porting Symbian Qt game to N9. QLineEdit lose text after closing virtual keyboard when you press outside of vkb. It has something to do with the "text error correction". When you disable error correction form text input settings, it does not lose text anymore.

We have three alternatives to get rid of this text losing.

    a) send "space" or "enter" key events to vkb/line edit

    b) swipe programmatically virtual keyboard away, if use press outside of vkb

    c) change text input settings by disabling text input error correction

Do you know how to do some solution mentioned above?

I already solved this by inheriting QLineEdit and reimplementing method that handles events.
