    matlab instruction to symbian instruction

Hi, I have a matlab language instruction must be translated into language and I qt symbian, but not how, Can you help?
    the instructions is this:
    V = uint8 ([0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 mod (640.256) floor (640 / 256) 0 0 mod (480.256) floor (480/256) 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0]);
    thank you very much

Re: matlab instruction to symbian instruction

Matlab is higher level language that C++, so there isn't one to one translation.

But in that line you have array of integers which is basic feature in any language

Learn from arrays and math funcions in C++ here:
    http://www.cplusplus.com/doc/tutorial/arrays/
    http://www.cplusplus.com/reference/clibrary/cmath/

    it's something like this:
    int V[] = {0, 0, 640%256} and so on. modulo is operator % in C

If you are making vector mathematics with that array in Matlab, then it's more complex.

Re: matlab instruction to symbian instruction

You need to be more specific. Send where?

But if those number are representing characters use 'char' type and convert to maybe to QString http://doc.qt.nokia.com/4.6/qstring.html

I think you should really explain what you are doing, otherwise it's not possible to give any more answers.

As you are saying that matlab sends that string but where ? Are you writing this string to file or some variable?

Re: matlab instruction to symbian instruction

I can not explain, I have to do is send the sequence of integers that are 6, 0, 0, 640, 480, 1, 1
instruction that uses matlab is the one below, first sends 0 and 0 in this way, 00000000 Depue the bottom of 640 followed by the upper part of the same for 640 and 480, and last January 1st is the indian Litel 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 I hope it is clearer

That Matlab line doesn't send anything anywhere. It saves an array to variable V.

    Still its not clear...
What you want to do by combining the matlab and Qt.

Are you developing some Qt Desktop application?

Re: matlab instruction to symbian instruction

I tried to explain how to make similar variable in C++ in post #3. You can ask more specific if you didn't understand. It also depends what you are exactly going to do with the variable.
