    Input Injection

    Hello,

I am wondering if it is possible to do input injection from one application to another on S60 platforms, and if so what is the lowest version that it supports? I was looking over the following document (http://www.developer.nokia.com/Commu...ate_a_keypress) and i see that you can simulate a keypress, but i need to simulate an input of a character unicode, from one application and have it sent to the currently active field in another application. Usually this is input or event injection on other OS, but i am unable to find a concrete answer about s60 anywhere (Doesn't have to be C++, if it is possible from Java, which i don't think it is, it is also fine)

    Thanks in advance.

Basically the key simulation is the way, or you could see whather the application you want to interact with would implement any additional ways.

Anyway, for Java, do ask in the java section.

Just to confirm though, injection of unicode characters is possible, is that right?

key simulatopm simulates keys, you could try what happens with unicode characters, but basically it would be upto FEP to interpret the key.
