    Hi,

I really cannot comment on future plans, but you probably know Qt very well, so why not to make a simple hybrid app wrapper for Symbian devices?
Qt creator already has HTML5 application template, so basically you could just concentrate on HTML5 part of the code.

    Re: Regardiing HTML5

    Hi,
it looks like the Browser 7.3 has some Problems with jQuery Mobile (http://jquerymobile.com/)
The Browser gets killed if it opens pages which use jQuery for mobile devices.
At least with my Nokia E72-1.
    Try it yourself:
    http://jquerymobile.com/demos/1.0/

    My userAgent is:
    --------------------
    Mozilla/5.0 (SymbianOS/9.3; Series60/3.2 NokiaE72-1/073.001; Profile/MIDP-2.1 Configuration/CLDC-1.1)
    AppleWebKit/533.4 (KHTML, like Gecko)
    NokiaBrowser/7.3.1.26
    Mobile Safari/533.4

    Can anyone confirm this?

    Regards
    Bernd Fehling

    Thanks for your feedback.
I have created a new thread for this:
    http://www.developer.nokia.com/Commu...-jQuery-Mobile

I can also confirm that there are no problems with Android and iOS.
Also Opera 10 Mobile on E72-1 has no problems.
