    Re: s40 6th Gen LocationUtil Not found,,

    Does the X3-02 have a built-in GPS? If so, it is enabled in phone settings, or is network based location services?

    I don't have an X3-02, but the phone seems to have support for JSR-179 listed, but no actual GPS receiver is mentioned in the developer specs: https://www.developer.nokia.com/Devi...cations/X3-02/

    i dont know if x3-02 have built in gps,, but the c2-03 didn't have it too, but the code just fine,, and i'm not using gps to get the location,,

    this is my code,,

    public GeoCoordinate getUserLocation() {
    Coordinates P = null;
    LocationProvider lp = null;
    try {
    int [] methods = {(Location.MTA_ASSISTED | Location.MTE_CELLID | Location.MTY_NETWORKBASED)};
    lp = LocationUtil.getLocationProvider(methods, null);
    if(lp == null){
    /* bla bla bla */
    }else{
    /* bla bla bla */
    }
    }catch(Exception e){
    /* bla bla bla */
    };
    return new GeoCoordinate(P.getLatitude(), P.getLongitude(), 0);
    }
