Playing a sound during outgoing phone call

    Hi,
On Harmattan, QMediaPlayer is automatically muted when there is an outgoing call.
I would like to know the reason(s) for this and if there is/are any workaround(s).
My goal is to dial a number an play a recorded message. This works well on Symbian.

Re: Playing a sound during outgoing phone call

    Hi,
That's because of the policy framework. If the audio continues to play the user cannot hear anything.
Take a look at resource policy FW: http://harmattan-dev.nokia.com/docs/...ain.html?tab=1
There is even an interesting PDF there, I invite you to take a look at it

    Thank you for the information.

Can I see the resource policy code you added to your app?
