The nma.jar is added to the project and compiles ok but when you run both on the emulator and my phone(c7) I get the above error message. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi Adrian,

If you are using eclipse, you need to do the following:

Right click on your Project and select Properties>Select Java Build Path>Click the Order and Export Tab> Check the nma.jar file and press OK.

If you are using Netbeans, please make sure that you right click on your project> Select Properties>Select Platform>Find the Optional Packages list> check the Location Based APIs and press OK

But in the application descriptor / api permissions the api nma.jar or whatever its called is not there do you know what it needs and how to get the permission. this is in netbeans 7.

It's hard to say by just looking at this.

Can you provide a code sample or give more information about what you are trying to do?
