    how minimize/hide app with qml in meego?

    Hi,

    When certain events occur on the phone, I have to bring the app to foreground and show a querydialog in my app. After the querydialog is answered by the user I need to push the application to background. I am able to bring the application to foreground by calling viewer->showExpanded(). But viewer->showMinimized() or lower() or hide() is not pushing the application to background.

    I read somewhere it is possible to use a little trick by using dbus message but not sure what should be the path, interface and name in case of MeeGo.

    [viewer is a pointer to the QmlApplicationViewer - a wrapper class derived from qDeclarativeView generated by QtCreator].

    Thanks,
    DJ

    Ok, found the problem, it is required to wrap the showMinimized() function also in QmlApplicationViewer class.

    void QmlApplicationViewer::showMinimized()
    {
    d->view->showMinimized();
    }

    Now calling viewer->showMinimized() works fine.

    You can use this property too without dealing with C++ code.
