Qt quick app doesn't launch from app icon

I'm making my first steps in Qt and QML world.

I have a very simple app that works nicely on simulator and also on the device when started from SDK.

But when i start my app in the device from the icon, nothing happens.
I have read a little and i suspect that it's related to invalid aegis manifest file.

My program is very simple QML based app that doesn't need any creditentials (i believe).

Right now it is completely empty file. Is this correct or there should be some kind of basic XML structure inside the manifest?

please check if you have passed the correct parameters for Exec in .desktop file.

    Check the Invoker part

    Thanks kusumk

The problem was in invoker. .desktop file had wrong app path for some strange reason.
I have noticed same kind of bug with the icon files that SDK generated.

Invoker path and icon file name both had hyphens "-" in it ("my-app-name" for example).
But to get my app launch and to show correct icon, it had to be without hyphens ("myappname").
