    ViewControl or Panning Control

I have been working on setting up a simple map application. I started working with OVI APIs when I discovered they have been superseded by the Nokia Map 2.1 APIs. My initial prototype using OVI included the view control (panning) component (ovi.mapsapi.map.component.ViewControl()). When I converted my code over to use the Nokia APIs this feature stopped working and I cannot for the life of me find out how to add it.

Has this feature been removed/not included in the Nokia APIs, is there any way to add it? It is a requirement for the current project I am working on. We do not want to move back to OVI my only other option it to try and create my own if it is not available in Nokia 2.1.

    Thank you in advance

    Rok

    Re: ViewControl or Panning Control

The ViewControl is no longer part of the Nokia Maps API. Tilt has been removed as the API is concentrating on pure 2d Maps. If you need to pan the Map, you'll need to code up your own control. There is a working panning example in the developer playground you could base this on.
