Question How can I recognize a phone by using it's Product ID?

    hi,
I've having difficulties while trying to recognize a phone model by using it's Product ID.
Previously, I could find my answer at http://www.developer.nokia.com/Commu...fication_codes
, which was maintained by Nokia. Unfortunately it doesn't work now. New phones' information never appears on this site since Nokia Oro.

OR, could anybody just tell me what's the corresponding cell models of the following Product IDs ?
    20029a72
    20023768
    2002c132
    2003ab65
    2002bf97

Wiki pages in general are not necessarily maintained by Nokia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wiki), anyone can extend them.
However the device specification pages are official content and they have the product codes. Devices above, Device specifications. The codes are listed at the end of 'APIs', like RM-779: 0x20035565 for the Nokia 603 (https://www.developer.nokia.com/Devi...fications/603/)

Thanks a lot, I wasn't expecting such a quick reply
I understand that the codes are listed at the end of 'APIs' at http://www.developer.nokia.com/Devic...pecifications/. I found some luck there. But what if I just got a product Id and I want to know the phone model?
Is there any way else except go through the 'APIs' of every model?

    Theoretically yes, practically no.
On the specifications page there is a blue "Expert device search" button on the right. It allows searching for product ID-s too (again, in the APIs group).
However it does not work for me right now, I tried some of your codes and also the Nokia 500, with and without the 0x prefix...

That's a smart button. Thanks, I do regrett for not haveing seen it before.
It's working when I tried with 2003555d, which stands for 801T.
Yet still no luck for my previously pasted product IDs.
